Uncover additional insights through meta-analyses
Extract more from your market research studies
Ever wondered how to get more from your research? In today's economic climate, it's a question that is being asked frequently. At SKIM, we have addressed this issue head on and inform our clients that they can benefit even further from all studies we conduct on their behalf. We have learned that by taking a 30,000 foot view of data across studies, insightful patterns emerge. Through meta-analyses we are able to go beyond what's on the surface and truly build upon initial conclusions.
Upon the completion of a number of similar studies, we are able to perform a meta-analysis on the findings to uncover patterns across the research set and create general learnings. By doing this, we build an insight-driven framework which will help clients approach future business questions with a broader view and a general understanding of what was learned from past studies.
Meta-Analysis in pricing and claims research
For example, SKIM recently presented results of meta-analyses in two critical business areas: pricing research and product claims optimization. In the pricing meta-analysis, we reviewed studies that included more than 2,000 SKUs across 21 product categories and 11 countries in Europe. For the meta-analysis involving product claims optimization, we reviewed nearly 300 claims across 5 product categories in both Europe and the US. As a result, when combining the collective information, experiences, and knowledge across multiple categories and/or products, we can provide a set of guidelines or best practices that will help our clients prepare for future challenges in specific areas of interest.
Apply these learnings to your organization
To truly understand the benefits of meta-analysis, SKIM offers the opportunity to work with you to prepare and present one of these Meta-Analyses. We are confident that these learnings will contribute to knowledge sharing across your organization.
