Latent Class

To install the latest version of Latent Class, please follow these directions

1. Download Program
If you previously had Latent Class v2.x installed on your computer, you do not need to uninstall your old version before installing this update.

Your browser should ask whether you want to run the program from its current location or download the file to your hard drive. We suggest that you run the program from its current location. However, if you have a slow internet connection, need to distribute the new version to other licensed users, or if you may need to install again at a later time, you may want to save the installation program to your hard drive.

2. Launch Installation Program
For new installations: While we recommend using the default installation location, you may install the new version of Latent Class in any directory you choose.

3. Enter User ID Information
If this is a new installation, you will need to either copy the userid.chb file (which you may have received by email) into the installation directory, or import that file by launching Latent Class and going to <Help - About Latent Class/User ID ...>. It is easiest just to import the file, but if you choose to retype the information in the About Latent Class/User ID area, it must be entered exactly as it appears on the license information that accompanied your software.
