CBC/HB

(Version 4.6.0, released 30 January 2008)

To install the latest version of CBC/HB, please follow these directions:

1. Download Program
If you previously had CBC/HB v3.x installed on your computer, you must uninstall your old version before installing this update.
Click on the following link to download the new program files:

Download CBC/HB

Your browser should ask whether you want to run the program from its current location or download the file to your hard drive. We suggest that you run the program from its current location. However, if you have a slow internet connection, need to distribute the new version to other licensed users, or if you may need to install again at a later time, you may want to save the installation program to your hard drive.

2. Launch Installation Program
For new installations: While we recommend using the default installation location, you may install the new version of CBC/HB in any directory you choose.

For updates to older versions: If you had an older version of CBC/HB v3.x on your computer, you should install the new version of CBC/HB v4 in the same directory as the old version. CBC/HB will install into the previous directory, updating just the program files. Your previous study and data files will remain intact.

3. Enter User ID Information

If this is a new installation, you will need to either copy the userid.chb file (which you may have received by email) into the installation directory, or import that file by launching CBC/HB and going to <Help - About CBC/HB/User ID ...>. It is easiest just to import the file, but if you choose to retype the information in the About CBC/HB/User ID area, it must be entered exactly as it appears on the license information that accompanied your software.
