Social Media Research presentation SKIM well received at MIE 2012

On February 1 & 2 the annual Dutch Marketing & Information Event (MIE) took place. Our SKIM experts Mario Coelho and Mini Kalivianakis presented about chocolate and Social Media Research. The presentation was rewarded by the audience with no less than a 8.1 score (10 point scale).

Social media research sets on the belief that in order to understand consumers, we must listen, not ask. What is said about your brand and by whom?

Mini and Mario took the audience along on an online journey into the world of chocolate. They revealed what is openly said about chocolate brands in Brazil and the US and how to translate this into valuable branding insights. It was discussed how unbiased information from social media platforms can influence, inspire and validate your brand marketing decisions too.

Mini Kalivianakis and Mario Coelho

Mini Kalivianakis, our Director Europe, has ample research experience in both FMCG and the healthcare industry. With a background in new product development and innovation and a wide interest in social media, Mini is responsible for development of social media research at SKIM.

Mario Coelho is a Project Manager at our Consumer Research team in London. He has a passion for social media research and its impact on your marketing strategies. Mario has conducted social media research projects on FMCG in other languages than English - and he loves this challenge.
