SKIM presents about Menu-Based Choice Modeling on Sawtooth

Software conference in Orlando, Florida | March 21-23, 2012

With conjoint in our roots, and being the distributor of Sawtooth Software for conjoint analysis in Europe, Middle East and Africa, SKIM is often involved in development and testing of Sawtooth Software conjoint technologies. On 2012's annual Sawtooth Software conference our methodologists will present about analyzing Menu-Based Choice data, the latest conjoint development.

An empirical comparison of approaches to analyzing MBC modeling data

In our presentation on Thursday March 22 we will compare two approaches to analyzing Menu-Based Choice modeling data on their predictive validity: a single logit-based model that predicts the performance of combinatorial alternatives using Sampling of Alternatives versus Sawtooth's Serial Cross effects model. We apply the approaches to an ad-hoc dataset to investigate similarities and differences.
