SKIM conducted international poll about sexual behavior for Lilly
SKIM recently conducted a global research study for Eli Lilly and Company about sexual behavior and sexual health issues among men and women in 13 different countries. The findings reveal how people across the globe are similar - and different - in their sexual behaviors and how they deal with 'bedroom issues'.
About Lilly and SKIM
As Lilly markets a well-known drug to treat erectile dysfunction, this pharmaceutical company was looking for ways to inform the public about common 'bedroom habits' as well as potential associated issues that people encounter. After conducting this large-scale global poll, SKIM was able to help Lilly interpret findings and extract the most interesting communication points, which have now been made public in a global press release (see link below).
By making people aware of the global statistics on this topic, Lilly is hoping to achieve a reduction in the ever-existing stigma around erectile dysfunction. In addition, the results of this study are helping Lilly in defining the communication angles that differentiate against key competitors.
About the survey
The survey was conducted online among over 13,000 men and women, aged 34 and older, from no less than 13 different countries: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Mexico, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. The poll comprised 24 questions on topics such as current sexual behavior, dealing with sexual health issues and using and purchasing ED medication.
