Business teams are pressured to efficiently and effectively generate concepts describing new product propositions. However, the wish for speed often conflicts with the logistics of a business team. Team members are located around the world; hard to get in one place and keep them grounded until the new concept has been finished. The same also often applies to the consumer or professional to whom the concept is targeted. SKIM offers a suite of concept development methods that works around this conflict and delivers a new concept, with or without the team being in one place for a couple of weeks.

The SKIM Suite covers several concept development stages, in which we first support the team develop a better understanding of the consumer need, and then generate the full concept including benefit and reason to believe addressing this need. Apart from traditional qualitative approaches, SKIM also offers extended online focus groups to help clients efficiently develop a high quality, innovative product concept. By working with the same respondents, we ensure that the final concept is consistent with the original consumer need. The Suite combines qualitative concept development and optimization methods with quantitative concept evaluation, to provide accurate information on the strength of resulting product concepts, combining the best of both worlds.
