Meet our moderator Jeroen van den Hoven

SKIM is proud to have its own highly qualified in-house moderators. We would like to introduce Jeroen van den Hoven, who started working for SKIM | Fieldwork & Healthcare NL in 2011 and has gained experience in numerous indication areas since then. Given Jeroen's marketing background, he is able to understand the 'deeper why' behind the market exploration, positioning or concept testing questions of clients in a relatively easy way.

Broad experience in both the healthcare and consumer markets

"After my studies Marketing Management at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, I started working at SKIM for the Fieldwork and Healthcare Netherlands division. Since the early beginning, I have been working on both quantitative and qualitative national and international market research projects for the business-to-business and consumer markets as well as the healthcare market. I have experience with TDI's, IDI's, Focus Groups (both online as on a Central Location) and online Bulletin Boards."

"Since the early start, I have worked on projects in the areas of Oncology, Respiratory Diseases (Asthma & COPD), Metabolic & Psychiatric Disorders, Urology and Neurology. I have a particular interest in conducting full scope research for sensitive, smaller disease areas, such as PKU, in which patients, specialist nurses and specialists are included. Types of projects for which I have moderated include market exploration, patient/customer journeys, lifestyle experiences (ethnography), positioning and concept testing."

Business to business and Consumer markets

"As product ranges within the consumer market vary enormously, I found myself shopping with consumers in order to get an impression of their buying behaviour, or visited them at home to witness a demonstration of their product usage. In my projects for the business-to-business market, I spoke to decision makers on the purchasing behaviour of their telecom packages and insurance services."
