We are looking for…
… An intern to investigate business applications and commercial opportunities of 
   DecisionSupport Modeling for SKIM.
… An undergraduate master student in the last phase of an Economics/Econometrics/
   Marketing/Statistics education.
… A conceptual mind with proficiency in modeling and English language.

Research question
At SKIM we’re always looking for new methodologies and opportunities that help us stay at the forefront of market research. It is our ambition to be among the first to apply new methods and turn them into successful research offers. One of the methods we see has great potential is Decision Support Modeling. Although DSM is not new in itself, it has been receiving more attention lately now that techniques are advancing and applications more far-reaching.
We need your help in evaluating the potential of DSM and turn it into a successful offer for our services portfolio.

The assignment is threefold:
1. define the methodological foundations of DSM,
2. lead a creative exercise to identify its potential, and
3. work with our consultants to find ways of marketing DSM applications, turning the 
    opportunity into a real client project.

Our offer
We offer this assignment as an internship for a Master’s degree. We are willing to align our conditions with those of your school. We suggest you to work for 4-5 days a week in our Rotterdam office over a period of 3-6 months (negotiable). We supply facilities, great team spirit and financial compensation. You will not be thrown in at the deep end: we typically have about 2-3 interns on staff at any point in time and the average age in our office is below 30.
