The prices for this event are the following:

Hotel Reservation

The conference will be held May 26-May 28, 2010, in Cologne, Germany at the Renaissance Cologne Hotel. A block of rooms has been reserved for the SKIM conference at a special rate.

We have arranged a special room rate for you of € 129. This special rate is valid until April 14, 2010, so please make your reservation before then.

This room rate is available a few days before and after the event. Any participants who want to reserve a room earlier or later than the main dates should contact Ms.Vanessa Reis, Event Supervisor at the the Renaissance Cologne Hotel. She will handle your reservation.

You can make your reservations at the Renaissance Hotel in 2 different ways:

  1. By telephone
    • call the reservations department at +49 221 2034 700
    • make sure you mention that you are joining the SKIM event. The codeword is "please advise"
  2. By internet
    • click on the following link :
    • on the right hand side of the website you can find the reservations section
    • enter your arrival date to begin the reservation process
    • the group code OK3 is automatically listed
    • then press Check Availability - this will display all possible options
    • here you can select your preference for rooms (smoking/non smoking, king bedded or twin bedded etc.)
    • also enter your credit card to guarantee the reservation
    • the system will immediately make your reservation and an email confirmation will be sent

Cancellation Policy

After receiving the signed registration form, we will send you a confirmation of receipt. This confirmation makes your registration final. Cancellation charges are:

  • 25% of the registration fee if cancellation is made after April 25, 2010
  • Full fee if cancellation is made after May 21, 2010

Substitutions of registered attendees may be made up to the start of the event on Wednesday May 28, 2010.
