Are you the entrepreneurial leader who will bring our US Healthcare team to the next stage of growth?

Based originally in Rotterdam, we expanded our US businesses since 2005 by opening an office in Hoboken NJ, USA, and are planning to open an office in San Francisco in 2012. We expanded our European business by opening offices in Geneva, Switzerland in 2008 and in London, UK in 2010.

To really grasp all opportunities we see in the US Healthcare market we are looking for an entrepreneurial manager who will bring our Healthcare team to the next stage of growth. This Director Healthcare will strengthen and grow the business and our position in the top tier suppliers providing research based marketing / business solutions for the global healthcare industry.

Your role

The main job responsibilities are:

  • Formulates the US regional divisional strategy and year plans
  • Leads and develops the US regional Healthcare teams, guides the location team managers and people
  • Develops new businesses and build accounts
  • Guides the Market Research projects and has the vital client contacts in your role as consultant
  • Ensures the realization of goals and initiates steering measures

You will report to the Global Management Team, located in Europe.

Your background

Other profile characteristics you have:

  • Minimum Master's degree; master's degree from a top-tier school is seen as a plus
  • In-depth understanding of marketing and business issues validated by a minimum of 7 years experience in marketing, strategy consultancy or market research
  • Solid experience in medical, clinical or epidemiological area with an extensive experience in marketing or strategy, or being experts in analyzing and solving marketing / business issues in the context of healthcare
  • Leadership experience in supervising and coaching international, multi-cultural teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • International experience
  • Hand-on mentality
  • Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing
